Naps are critical to growing children. Studies suggest that mental development takes place when kids sleep-both at night and at least once during the day. Studies have also found that kids who nap have longer attention spans and are less fussy than those who don’t. And, perhaps the best reason of all: children tend to sleep longer and more peacefully at night.
The standard naptime is two hours at Little Angel’s. Nap time for older preschoolers is considered “quiet time”, but sometimes the child still drifts off to sleep on their own. Nap time for infant and toddlers is also two hours, but sometimes, they don’t always sleep that long.
